Nancy Kim, M. D. attended State University of New York at Binghamton for her undergraduate BS degree in Biology (1994) with magna cum laude. In 1998, she completed her Doctor of Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Her clinical training included a year of Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan (1999).
She completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Medicine & Dentistry in New Jersey/Kessler in 2002 with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha society. Her subspecialty training included a fellowship in Interventional Spine & Sports Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center in Manhattan (2003). Throughout her training, she has co-authored articles in several journals with focus on sports medicine and spine. She is board certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation in the United States.
Dr. Kim is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha society and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She is also a member of The International Spine Intervention Society.
Dr. Kim’s focus is on conservative treatment of the spine, including physical therapy, medications, and interventional spine procedures. She performs cervical, lumbar epidurals, facet joint injections, medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablations, sacroiliac joint injections, and discography all under live fluoroscopic x-ray guidance.
